A fine, and rare PAIR of Famille Verte Deep Bowls of the Qing Dynasty, the Kangxi Period, Circa 1665. Finely painted with a variety of scenes including monkeys riding deer and poking at bees' nests in a branch above, tigers gazing up at tree shrews frolicking in grapevine, and fiancés on horseback bidding their lovers goodbye, small bird and animal vignettes around the flaring rim above and on the interior rim cell diaper interrupted by frog, fish, lobster and crab panels. In very good condition. Each bowl has minor hairline cracks, early, that have in no way harmed the bowls. Please feel free to ask for additional photos.
