Pair Antique Chinese Porcelain Bronze Elephant Lamps

Included here is a beautiful pair of antique Chinese export porcelain joss stick holders in the form of elephants, in the Famille Verte style. They feature later mounts and hardware including gilt brass pedestals with porcelain and gilt brass floral mounts, and single lamp socket and wiring. Each measures approximately 21" tall, 6.5" wide and 4.25" deep. Condition of each is very good. There is a visible crack on the rear leg of one figurine, and some chip losses to the porcelain flowers. One socket is missing and the wiring is old. (We will be happy to replace the wiring and add the necessary socket for a modest fee.) These items reside with our client on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York city and may be seen by appointment. Additional images forwarded upon request. ( hantiques )
