Pair 24" Paris Exposition Patinated Dore Bronze Urns

Included here is a matching pair of patinated and dore bronze cassolettes in the Louis XV style, produced for the 1900 Exposition Universelle in Paris France. There are no hallmarks, but the base of one is inscribed " Exposition 1900 ". Each measures 24.5" tall, 11" across and 8" deep, and they each weigh an estimated 50-60 lbs. or more. Possibly by Ferdinand Barbedienne. This item resides on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York city and may be seen by appointment. ( hantiques )
