A scarce, complete set of cast iron fireplace tools with perched owls for handles, comprised of a shovel, tongs, poker, brush and stand. They were made to match cast iron owl form andirons, (we have several pairs of matching andirons available, some of which are pictured on our website) and several Connecticut and Massachusetts foundries produced these in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. In excellent original and functioning condition, the stand is 7-3/4" in diameter and 26-1/4" H.
