This original ink and charcoal drawing by Oscar E. Berninghaus is in excellent condition and framed in a simple black frame. Signed & inscribed "A Meow & Greetings from O.E. Berninghaus for your cat portfolio". Ms. Grace Gooding was secretary for the St. Louis Artists guild (As was O. E. Berninghaus) and an ardent feline lover. On her retirement in 1934 the member artists drew as gifts portraits of cats. This and other drawings in the portfolio by other artist members are all dated 1934.
