Special image created for Fortune Magazine; with the Wake up America. The artist Giusti immigrated to the United States in 1938, and spent the majority of his career in New York. He started a freelance practice and designed posters and publicity materials for United States government agencies during World War II. The image of a wake up call of what could happen with the gas mask; a clock ticking away in one eye opening; and bomb blast in the other. It was definately an image that got your attention.
