Etching of a country house initialed HEH on the plate, signed H. E. Hampshire in pencil on the lower right and dated 1911. Harry E. Hampshire was a member of the Society of the Raim-Tuppani (one of Philadelphia's art clubs 100 years ago), copyrighted several plays and appears listed among the 1891 members of the Philadelphia Yacht Club. The text: "Presentation Proof to Ida Richards" appear to the right below the image. A presentation proof is an impression reserved and inscribed by the artist as a gift for a friend, collaborator or collector. In good condition with toning as shown.
