A very dramatic poster for Solanis who advertises himself as "Le Magicien Moderne" in very deco lettering. Against a black background this exuberant art deco poster shows the joy of French liberation...red, white and blue birds soar from the magician's top hat, blue red and yellow flowers spring out and the flags of the allies appear as a streamer. Designed by the artist George Condé who also designed figures for Saint-Clement in Lorraine. The poster is signed "Geo Condé 1945"
