Original nineteenth century French bronze signed H. Chapu [Henri Michel Antoine Chapu, 1833-1891]. This well-executed work of a kneeling female is from a well-listed and award winning sculptor. Besides the H. Chapu signature [see photo], there is the Barbedienne foundry signature [see photo]. Dimensions: 18.5" in height, 11" in width at widest point, and 10.5" depth at deepest part.
