Good, some age. Harper's Weekly Civil War Cover Fort Donelson 1862. Black; cream. Paper. This original engraved cover is marked," Harpers Weekly, Vol. VI.-No. 270, New York, Saturday, March 1, 1862." The engraving is titled, "The Surrender of Fort Donelson, February 16, 1862." It shows soldiers and cannon on an embankment. One soldier holds up his rifle with a white flag tied to it.
