Original 1917 Tuskegee Athletics Letter of George Brashear (pictured). Brashear, a 1918 Tuskegee graduate, was a football and track star. He played on Tuskegees 1917 Championship football team. He was a world class sprinter who trained with and was coached by Howard Drew- the first man to hold the title of the "Worlds Fastest Human". After graduation, Brashear pursued a music career. The noted jazz trombonist played with Fletcher Henderson, Ethel Waters, Louis Armstrong and others. 9"X6" Photo made from the original 1917 Photograph. Professionally framed.
