Often called the Father of the French Pin-up, Brenot was born in Montparnasse (Paris) in 1913. He was the artist for the Folies Berger, and The Lido and was fastinated with transforming a sexually psychological state into a visual one. He was a stylist for such famous brands as Dior, Balmain, Nina Ricci and Saint Laurent working for years at the height of the industry... His work is reminiscent of Vargas and other pin up experts and reminds us of Gruau and other masters of the period. The colors of this poster pop and we feel it will look wonderful framed. The poster measures 16 x 24 inches and is in excellent condition. All of our posters, prints and pochoirs are authentic, vintage items.
