White opalescent toothpick holder in the "Over-All Hobnail" pattern, originally made by the Nickel Plate Glass Co., later by U. S. Glass. This information comes from the opalescent glass book by Edwards, which prices this piece at 135.00. A book on glass toothpick holders by Bredehoft & Sanford places it in a much lower price level, and made by A. J. Beatty & Sons. Circa 1880's-90's. Measures 2.5"h. Very good condition, no chips or cracks. Price recently reduced.  Inglenook Antiques...Established 1989.
