Beautiful opal doublet set in a 9ct gold mount. Colours of blue, green and red in the opal. Stone measures approx. 9 mm by 7 mm (3/8 inch by 1/4 inch). Leaf detail to the shoulders. Ring size is English P (USA size 7.1/2) with an internal diameter of 17.75 mm. Stamped inside the band "9 ct". Some slight scuffing to the stone can be seen under magnification (can be polished by a jeweller if necessary), but not apparent to the naked eye. Very good condition all round - all claws are firm and in excellent condition. Probably circa 1950s-60s.
