A large and highly decorative early 20th Century opal, diamond and emerald ring, circa 1900. The ring has an opal set within an opulent field of surrounding rose cut diamonds and four emeralds flanking the center stone. The shank is very ornate and has an openwork filigree basket. The ring is marked with the maker's mark "AS" within a diamond and 19K. There are additional hallmarks which are illegible. Condition is excellent. Dimensions: 1 5/8" x 1 1/4".
