Taxco Mexican Sterling Silver Abalone shell piece. To tell you the truth I don't know what this is. However it can be used as a slide piece on a bolo tie or put on a ribbon and worn around your neck. There is no evidence of anything broken off of it. As you can see by the pictures that it has a flat open slot to run a cord, ribbon or ? through it. It is initialed and has the eagle mark of 3. In addition is is marked Taxco Mexico 925.
