Here's a charming primitive oil painting done on a wrought iron food chopper. It shows a boy fishing with a house, trees, sailboat, water in the background. It's nicely done. It's probably from the latter 19th century but as I don't know about these, I can't date it. The chopped is wrought iron. This was a difficult item to categorize. It's certainly folk art but also is a primitive painting as well as an early kitchen chopper.
