Outstanding family photo album that contains 265 snapshot photographs from 1911 through the 1920's. This album is not your ordinary family version so often found of mom & pop images. But rather one that dances with much interest and grace from popular visual topics one page after another. Their are photographs of girls with dolls, old cars, beautiful ladies,Miss Liberty,Confederate reenactments, Days at the Marion Inn,Swimming Summer Leisure days,Cute Pet pictures and much more.
The best pictures though show Charles Lindbergh and his Spirit of St. Louis airplane. There are three Lucky Lindy photos in all. In which the other two show him coming out of a building riding in a Packard convertible. There is no caption as to where this event took place. But he came by the way of his Spirit of St. Louis.
The album came from the Carolina's and belonged to one Mary J. Buckley.
Superb album in every respect.
