Old Lapis Cabochon & Brass Clip On Earrings

Lapis spheres set in ornamental brass clip on settings. The brass is dark from age. I think that they should not be polished up because the patina adds to the character of these vintage clip on's.
I cannot guarantee they are truly lapis and not some other type of stone. There are no inclusions or matrix or flaws in the stones as one would usually see in lapis lazuli. They are too dense to be glass. A scratch test would surely ruin the earrings. With the doubt in mind I have them price accordingly.
They measure 5/8 high and 3/4 in diameter.
