Here's an old hearth broom. The handle looks to be hand-carved. There's cord around the bristles and wire as well to hold the bristles to the handle. It has nice wear. If you have a country primitive home or fireplace, this hearth broom would make a nice addition. I also have other hearth brooms on my website.
