Old Gold Cigarette Snowonder Ad 1939 This is a February 6, 1939 advertisement. It is a 1/2 page nice color ad from P Lorillard Co. Inc. with nice graphics from an early magazine. It reads, Snowonder she likes Old Golds ! It invites you to tune in on Old Golds Melody and Madness with Robert Benchley and Artie Shaw's Orchestra on Sunday Night Columbia Network. The other half page is three pictures. Top picture is Roper's Gym in Philadelphia. MIddle picture is James Hammill and Walter Brown in 5 mile race on the Hudson River and bottom picture is Baseball Fashions of 1870 Most famous team was the Cincinnati Red Stockings, who had won 81 games the year before. In mint condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. The Old Gold ad measures 5 1/2" by 13" tall.Others are 4 1/2" wide. by approx. 4 1/4" " tall each.
