This Cast Iron Front Hitch for a Fire Wagon is VERY, VERY Old! It dates back to the early 1900's. We believe it is either a Kenton or a Hubley. The overall length is approximately 9". It looks like the tip is broken off. A good deal of the ORIGINAL red paint is still visible. There is some rust present. Because cleaning and/or polishing can sometimes 'scrub' off the value, this is left to the new owner. This is a very Hard-To-Find item and a nice display piece.
