This is a rare brass tea caddy spoon; the top of the handle is in the figure of a Dickens character, similar to Micawber from David Copperfield. The handle is an ornately modeled twisted column, and the round spoon area is clasped front and back by a figural fleur-de-lis. This item is fine quality, has very nice detail, and in good condition excepting a modest bit of wear from old age. This item measures (in inches): 6.6 long X 1.7 wide X 0.8 deep; the weight is 2.7 Oz. The date is circa 1900. Shipping and Insurance USPS Priority Mail within the U.S. is $5.00.
