OLD Deco Chrysoprase czech signed NECKLACE

SIGNED Czechoslovakia on the back, this drop dead gorgeous chrysoprase necklace is a real bookpiece! Exceptional workmanship along with these fantastic stones make it a real work of art. The stone, known as the favorite gemstone of Alexander the Great, has an apple green hue and is one of the most cheering colors of the stone kingdom. One one of the qualities of this stone is that of emotional uplifting. To think this necklace is almost 100 years old gives you the knowledge that it has given good fortune to all that have owned and worn it. The condition is very good and the beautiful marcasite like settings accent these fabulous open back stones! The necklace is 16" long and the largest pendant is a little over 1" wide. The faceted chrysoprase is even prettier than the photos. The delicate silver chain is made of slender and shorter links which give it a lace effect. The etched settings for these stones are only found in the deco period. These are hard to find pieces and I have brought out one more ( a carnelian) that I am also offering this week.
