Old 1930's PRO-CURLER Hair Curling Roller Metal

Unavailable
This little gadget looks like an old hair curling iron; but it is ACTUALLY a hair ROLLER. After you roll the hair on it, you slide a bobby pin in the curl to secure the hair. You then pull the curler out for another curl. It is used for curling the hair without rollers. "PRO-CURLER" is molded on the side. "Pat. No. 2039789", "Made in U.S.A." is molded on opposite sides. The patent number dates it back to 1936. It is made of a lightweight metal. Overall length is approximately 4 1/2". The spring and 'knob' are in good working condition. This raises and lowers the bar that holds the hair in place. This vintage hair roller is in good used condition. What a TERRIFIC display piece this would be!!
