Octagon Blue Cake Plate U.S. Glass?

I believe this is from U.S. Glass in their Octagon pattern but cannot find if it was made in blue. At any rate this is a stunning cake plate. It is recessed in the center so it could have been an underplate for a large tureen of sorts. It stands on 4 wide short legs. Measures 12 ¼ across and 1 3/8 tall.
