Staebel Antiques offers this oak, church pew or deacons bench. The seat is contured to your body and the back is curved as well...so the bench is very comfortable. The overall length is 53 inches with the seat area 46 inches long. There is applied acanthus leaf carving on the ends of the graceful arms of each pew...some at the hand hold areas on the top and the hand rest area. Also, each end has an incised tombstone shape. This bench is very sturdy and in excellent condition having been restored and refinished in a medium dark golden oak. This can be shipped by Greyhound Bus for a reasonable cost. I have another bencht in case you wish a matching pair.
