Antique Walnut Victorian Style Wall Magazine Rack w Suede Leather Sided Pocket

This ornate magazine rack is beautifully carved and has a small shelf on it as well. The back is all one piece of wood. There is a small “T” style shelf at the top center of the rack for a small decorative piece. The pocket on the front is large enough to hold a thin book or a number of magazines. There are graduated strips of suede leather on each side of the pocket holding it to the backing. It is very solid and sturdy. The front of the pocket has a nice burled wood veneer design in the center. I do not know the maker or exact date it was made. This piece is antique and will not be perfect. This piece measures 23 ¾ inches tall, 12 ½ inches side to side and 3¼ inches front to back. It weighs 5 pounds.
