ANtique Victorian locket necklace fancy front pocketwatch syle

This miniature locket is made to look like a pocketwatch with a hinged loop top. It can be worn on either side because both sides have a beautiful design. The 20" chain was added later to keep it from getting lost and could easily be replaced with a solid gold one ( this one is not). By the wear on the gold , I would say it was worn with the oval loop side against the neck. The other side does not have wear. The locket is adorable and small enough for a child, but feminine enough for a woman. It measures 1" with the bale. You could put a baby photo in there, a wedding photo or your parents photos.
