Antique Victorian Bulldog Stickpin carved features rhinestone paste eyes Vintage figural dog lapel pin Mastiff Boston Bull

What a great old Bulldog this is! Hand carved with highly detailed rhinestone eye . Dating in the mid- late 1800's this figural pup is in all original. He measures 2" long and the head is about 3/4" tall ( included in the length).He could either be an english bulldog or possibly a mastiff or boston bull. This would have been made for a person who had these as working dogs in England. In newer times he is also the mascot for the Marines and was associated with Winston Churchill. . This great old piece is a rare find and I hope he ends up in a home where he will appreciated and loved for another hundred years.
