Antique "Sulfateuse" for Vineyards This was used for spraying copper sulfate as a herbicide, pesticide, and fungicide on vineyards throughout France. This piece is from the late 1800's or early 1900s and was worn on ones back. Today it is a decorative piece that can be adorned with dried flowers or by itself. This device was invented in 1883 by Victor Vermoral. Top is marked "Vermoral". Height (not including handle)=18, Body Width=14
