You are looking at a really nice solid oak teachers desk. This desk is ¼-sawn oak with a beautifully natural striped grain on the desktop. There are 6 dovetail drawers with wood pulls and there are adjustable dividers in the side drawers. Above the drawers on each side is a pull out writing area. There are a couple of chips in the veneer along the edges of the top however this desk is in really great condition for its age. There is a stamp in the center top drawer that reads: MANUFACTURED BY SMITH-MAYNE MEG. COMPANY WINDER, GEORGIA. I do not know the exact date the desk was made. This desk is vintage and will not be perfect. The desk measures 30 1/8 inches tall, 50 1/16 inches side to side and 30 1/8 inches front to back. It 135 weighs pounds.
