ANtique Rose gold filled Victorian locket necklace with Photos inside W. & S. Blackinton Co.

I love antique lockets and this one has gorgeous engravings on the front. It is signed W&Sb with a star on the inside of each photo holder. The company was started by two brothers in 1865. W. & S. Blackinton Co. (W&SB) was originally a manufacturer of gold jewelry in Meriden, CT. After being purchased by the Ellmore Silver Co. in the 1930's. This uses a combination of yellow and rose fold filled metals which brings out a beautiful patina. The chain is original and it measures 18" long There are old photos inside of a handsome young man and a young boy.
