Antique Rosary Necklace Vintage cut Crystal Saint Esprit dove Chapel sterling deco ornate mother of pearl silver crucifix Austria Rhinestone

Unavailable
This rosary is from the early 1900's and it holds a Chapel sterling dove, representing the Christian Holy Ghost, a common symbol found in jewels of the 18th and 19th century. It is also known as the Saint Esprit dove -The glass on the rosary chain appears to be hand cut. From the sterling  holy dove hangs an old Austrian paste rhinestone oval with a large teardrop centerpiece. The two crosses overlap each other. One is mother of pearl and the other is antique silver ( not sterling).  The neck chain  measures 32" ( not counting the 4" long drop)/ This is one of the longer rosaries and these glass beads are so unique and beautiful.  Between each crystal are fancy antique silver links that just make this fabulous necklace.  Totally gorgeous and much prettier than the photos, this is a a fabulous old piece that has been married together to make a piece of faith to wear close to your heart.    VintageSparkles offers Layaway on all our Etsy pieces regardless of which site it comes from.
