This is a very good quality table from turn of the century! The top is quarter sawn oak;. It has been totally refinished in a warm medium color oak satin finish. It measures 48" round and has two 8" leaves. The base is solid, (does not split apart). This is a very lovely table and modestly priced, as compared to the more ornate claw foot tables. So if you like simpler, hence less costly styles, this is the table for you.
