ANtique Portrait Queen with jewels Brooch hand painted cameo porcelain with gold

AN exquisite example of a hand painted portrait brooch of royalty or high society in the VIctorian period. I believe she is totally handpainted with no transfer involved. THere are layers of paint if you hold it to the light. She  is a beautiful young woman with upswept hair and a gold and pearl necklace that matches her earrings. In her hair she wears a double row ribbon and pearl and flower headband. The brooch has 24kt gold painted on the sides to form an ornate frame around her. This measures 1 1/4" long and has its original C Clasp which dates this in the late 1800's. This is a wonderful keepsake or heirloom that has been passed down for generations and hopefully will continue to do so.        VintageSparkles offers Layaway on all our pieces regardless of which site it comes from. All layaway payments will need to be in the form of a check or money order only.
