This Victorian Renaissance Revival Style Arm chair is made of Laminated Rosewood it features a magnificent center portrait hand-carved figural head of a male that forms a crest; it has attractive carvings of fruits, nuts, flowers, foliage, and geometric designs embellishing the arms legs and back with c and s shapes.  The chair has a diamond tufted back with upholstered padded arms and wide seat and spring support. The fabric is light green velvet, and the legs have very old casters on them. This is a remarkable piece, outstanding wood work; it is unsigned so we cannot name the artist only suggest a similar maker. This Chair is a find, we were enchanting with the beauty and style of this piece, redone with the fabric of your choice this would be an amazing masterpiece.
Condition, Good, small tear in channel side, fabric has few spots, minor wear on the finish, very heavy piece.
