Antique Oak Drug Store Apothecary Cabinet in Quarter-Sawn Oak

From Schlintz Bros. Drug Store in Appleton, WI, comes this beautifully restored Apothecary Mixing Cabinet. All of the original hardware, wavy rolled glass and drawers are present. This was in near pristine condition and all it needed was a minor cosmetic facelift and the requisite replacement of the beadboard back and glass shelves. All solid tiger oak construction with no veneer anyplace. We have added new finished sides as this had been built into a long wall with many other cabinets.

This is a big one - 12'6" long, 88.5" tall without the original crown molding, which adds another 8.5" in height. Beautiful original color. 1 shelf each on either side of closed bottom section. 28 drawers in total, and 2 glass shelves in each cabinet top. Never water or insect damaged or stored in a damp barn or basement. This is one of the nicest ones out there - would be perfect in your custom antique kitchen.

Schlintz Bros. was in business from the late 1880's-1958, and the cabinet was purchased from a member of the original family many years ago. It has never been abused or used as a tool cabinet.

Delivery possible on this item - it does break down into 4 sections (2 bottoms and 2 tops) and 2 crown moldings. It is surprisingly manageable and light in weight once it is disassembled.
