Antique Oak Chair Quarter Sawn Oak, with Hand Carved Flower & Needle Point Seat dated 1876.. This chair is about as solid as they get. No wobble or loose joints. It is of solid quater sawn oak with a meticulously hand carved flower design..
The seat has very old blue wool needle point with flowers which is not original to the piece. The chair has a paper on the underside explaining who own it and when and where it was purchased. The author is this note is the one who added the needle point. The note says that it was made by the Jaden or Daden furniture company in Ontario.
The chair is 15 pounds without being boxed up however the dimension need to be considered for shipping. It will probably need to send via FED EX Ground. Local pick up is welcome.
