You are looking at a pie bird from the 1940’s. The Nutbrown Pie Funnel Company made this pie vent funnel and it is stamped with the company name and registration No 860928. The elephant is in great condition. There is some crazing going on under the glaze however there are no cracks, chips or breaks. I do not know the exact date it was made. This piece measures 3 5/16 inches tall, 1 5/8 inches side to side and 3 inches front to back. It weighs less than 1 pound. We do have more photographs that we can email if you are interested.
