This delightful patinated bronze sculpture by Jean Loujis Gregoire (French, 1840-1890) depicts a neoclassical nymph holding a pan flute. It is mounted on an onyx stone plinth and comes with the pedestal shown.  Bronze measures 34 in tall and the pedestal 26.5 in tall.

Gregoire began exhibited at the Paris Salon in 1867. According to Sotheby's, his most familiar models included L'Allegro, Mozart Infant and the busts depciting Alsace and La Lorraine.
