This delightful ceramic vase features extensive enamelled and gilt decorations, including scenes depicting Samurai warriors and courtiers in pagodas.  Measures 20 by 13 inches.  Hand-drawn six figure hallmark with three figure Dai Nippon (Great Japan) mark on right side with Kyoto Fuzan mark on left meaning "maple mountain". From the Meiji period (1868-1912).
