This fabulous gilt bronze clock from the Parisien clockmakers, Raingo Freres, features a cast and gilt bronze case by Henri Picard. Measures approximately 22 inches tall. Picard was one of the leading designers of his age, producing numerous designs for the crown and elites of Paris between 1831 and 1884, including the Emperor Napoleon III. Raingo Freres was founded in 1813 and remained active until 1870.  The firm's most notable clients included the Duke of Orleans, King George IV of England, and Napoleon III.

Condition is good. There is a small loss to the porcelain dial and hairline crack as seen in our images. Has its original pendulum. We are happy to provide a detailed description of its working order prior to sale.
