Offering this very nice, clean hand crank, bench mount type sharpening grinder. This model has an inside geared system that allows the grinding wheel to spin much faster than the user is cranking the handle, plus the user can crank the handle and take your hand off the crank while spinning and the wheel will continue to spin under a good momentum so you can position the item being ground with both of your hands. It is a precision machined grinder, no loose fitting parts, turns smoothly, and runs quietly. There is an adjustable guide plate or guide bar, that is adjustable if you wish. The body is mostly cast metal, (with a sheet steel cover plate, heavy for it's size, weight is 4 pounds. The bench of post mount mouth is up to 1.5" thick, all in very good shape. Some of the original green paint is intact, and the hardwood handle is solid and has most of it's paint intact. The grinding wheel shown is included, and the main shaft is 1/4" diameter, a bushing can be used if you want to use a 1/2" ID grinding wheel, and it will hold up to a 7" OD grinding wheel. The one on it now is about 5.5" OD. A very nice tool/machine overall!
