Antique Greek Revival Charles X Period Bronze and Siena Marble Mantel Clock

This exceptional French mantel clock from the Charles X period, circa 1830, comes from the Paris studio of Sironval Jne. It features a Siena marble base and finely sculpted, cast and patinated figure of the Greek hero of the Trojan War, Achilles, pulling arrow from his heel.  Measures:  33 x 26 x 10.25; 84 x 66 x 27.5 cm. Provenance: Sotheby's. Item HA.2078.5.12.122616.
