Superb jugendstil relief molded tile by the renowned German maker, Servais & Cie, featuring a super-stylized design, possibly of a butterfly or moth, in a sophisticated pale blueish gray in fine, glossy glaze. Tile is in excellent/very good condition with surface rub in lower left quadrant that seems to be under the glaze; minute edge nick at raised line near left edge toward bottom. Super glossy and clean finish. Hand-inscribed "977" on reverse. Please write with any questions you may have.
