This very unusual antique chandelier in the French Empire style is distinguished by its coupe sculpted from variegated green marble. It has eight candles emanating from four foliate arms decorated with leafy scrolls and grapes. At each end are ram heads and a band around the waist of the marble features a reticulated bronze mount with guilloche motif. A large acorn finial rises from the center of the coupe, which is suspended by four knotted drapery style ropes descending from dual rope that extends from a ceiling cap decorated with large acanthus. The fixture was recently rewired and is ready for installation. Measures 36" tall, 14" wide and 12" deep. This magnificent fixture will compliment any neoclassical decor such as English Regency or French Empire.
