Antique French Locket Necklace Sterling Hallmarked Family Crest Cuvenir Victorian

This heavy and large antique ( late 1800's) French Locket has the name of the family in carved relief on the top. It reads S Cuvenir. The large locket also holds the original material under the cello photo covers ( see closeup). This is a fabulous old locket that hangs from a study sterling chain ( clasp was replaced and is the only thing that is not sterling). The locket measures 2" with bale and is hallmarked on the clasp ( I show a closeup but I can't make it out). The sterling chain is 17" long. The locket has gorgeous metal work on the front and has a domed high top lid. It closes and shuts well. It is a large impressive antique piece.
