Antique French Empire Period Ormolu Bronze Striking Mantel Clock

Unavailable
This lovely French striking mantel clock from the early 19th century features a vase-shaped case with swan handles and white enamel dial with pierced, ormolu hands.  The face is unmarked and we have not found marks on the escapement.  Similar clocks were made by and/or retailed by Dupuis and le Roy of Paris. Rear panel is missing as is the pendulum and key, and the working condition of the movement is unknown. As with all antique clocks that are shipped, buyer should expect the need for professional adjustment upon receipt. We are selling this item "as-is".  Our price is firm.
