Antique French Back Bar c.1800's Dark Walnut Mirrored Back Xnice Original Cond

 Here we have a very unique find. This large French made back bar is in excellent condition. It is made of Walnut and has dental molding and fluted trim across the top. There are 4 posters across the front of the upper piece. The tops and bottoms of the posters are heavily ringed and the centers are square and fluted alongside the doors of the cabinets. The upper shelf has a lovely curved bentwood back. The veneer on this is splitting in a few areas. Be sure to check out the photos below. There are 2 paneled doors with ring pulls on the top piece. Behind these doors is shelving for storage. There are 3 beveled mirrors on the top piece. They appear to be original to the piece and do have some aging spots and slight fogging. The base cabinet has 3 drawers with bail style pulls on clover shaped backplates. There are 2 paneled doors that have ring style pulls. Fluted trim flanks the drawers and doors and the doors have flowers carved in one panel. There is open storage in the center part of the base. The right lower drawer houses a carousel style shelf with 4 holes for bottle storage. There are some scuffs and scrapes on the top of the base however the overall condition is excellent. This is a big, beautiful piece. The back of the piece reads “Fmile Elngat 30 Rue Louis LeGrand”. I do not know the maker or exact date it was made. This piece is antique and will not be perfect. This back bar measures 98 inches tall, 84 ½ inches side to side and 21 13/16 inches front to back. It weighs 343 pounds.
